How to Submit to Your Election Office
Registration: Mail or Online Upload
(You must have a Florida State identification card to use Florida’s online voter registration system. You do not need a state ID to use www.votefromabroad.org)
Ballot Request: Email or Fax or Mail
(If requesting a ballot within 12 days of an election, voters must also include a new form indicating why they are unable to vote in person. The form is provided when requesting a ballot using www.votefromabroad.org)
Ballot Return: Fax or Mail
Type of Ballot Based on Voter Category
If you choose “My Return is Uncertain,” you will receive a ballot to vote in federal elections (US President, US Senate, and US House of Representatives).
Depending on your county, you may receive a ballot to vote in Florida state or local elections.
"Intend to Return" means you have an intention to return in the future -- but you don't need a set date or specific plans.
If you choose “Intend to Return,” you will receive a ballot to vote in federal, state, and local elections.

Remember: You must include the Voter's Oath when returning your ballot! If you downloaded your ballot from the online portal, it’s a separate button to download the Voter Oath after you download the ballot.

3. NEW! If you are requesting your ballot within 12 days of an upcoming election, you must submit an additional form along with your FPCA form. You only need to fill in Section I, then sign and date it. Sections II and III are not required nor is a photo ID.
